WASHINGTON — Comedian Pete Davidson has embraced fatherhood for the first time!

The 32-year-old comedian and his partner, Elsie Hewitt, joyfully announced the arrival of their daughter on Thursday. Through a collaborative Instagram post, the duo introduced Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, born on December 12.

“Our perfect angel girl arrived on 12/12/2025,” Hewitt expressed on Instagram. “She is my best work yet. I am overflowing with love, gratitude, and disbelief.”

The announcement was accompanied by a series of heartwarming photos featuring the couple with their newborn daughter. As reported by People on Thursday, Scottie carries the name of Davidson’s late father, Scott Matthew Davidson, a New York City firefighter who tragically lost his life during the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Back in July, Davidson and Hewitt shared the exciting news of their pregnancy with images that included a sonogram and video clips from an ultrasound appointment.

“Welp now everyone knows we had sex,” Hewitt joked in the caption at the time. Other photos showed her and “Saturday Night Live” alum embracing and smiling together.

Hewitt and Davidson were first linked in March after being spotted together in Palm Beach, Florida, and sources told People they had moved in together by May. Since then, they’ve shared occasional glimpses into their relationship, including appearing together at the 13th Annual Blossom Ball in New York City.

Davidson previously spoke about his desire to become a father during a 2022 appearance on “Hart to Heart,” Kevin Hart’s talk show. “My favorite thing ever, which I’m yet to achieve, is I wanna have a kid,” he said at the time. 

“That’s kind of what I’m just preparing for now, is trying to be as good as a dude and develop and get better, so when that happens, it’s just easier.”
