In Nassau County, Florida, authorities have charged a man with attempted murder following an incident where three individuals were stabbed at a home in Fernandina Beach on Wednesday night, as reported by the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on Duck Lake Drive around 9:30 p.m. upon receiving reports of a stabbing. Upon their arrival, they discovered that three individuals had sustained stab wounds.
Witnesses told deputies that one of the victims was physically attacked by the suspect, identified as Jeremy Eugene Darity, 41, in their driveway.
The sheriff’s office detailed that a second individual intervened in the situation, confronting Darity, which led to a struggle, resulting in this person being repeatedly stabbed. The first and third individuals also got involved to de-escalate the situation and were subsequently stabbed as well.
