Police identified the victims as 19-year-old Rubisnney Giraldo-Mina and 41-year-old Larry Baldwin Sr.

An 18-year-old man has been charged with murder in relation to a fatal double shooting that occurred early Saturday morning at a shopping center on Baymeadows Road, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities were called to the 9500 block of Baymeadows Road at approximately 3:30 a.m. to investigate a shooting report. Upon arrival, officers discovered two deceased males, 19-year-old Rubisnney Giraldo-Mina and 41-year-old Larry Baldwin Sr., both of whom had suffered gunshot wounds.

Police said officers located and detained 18-year-old Larry Baldwin Jr. at the scene.

Homicide detectives interviewed Baldwin Jr. and police said their investigation found he shot the two victims during an argument.

Baldwin Jr. was arrested Saturday afternoon and is now being held in the Duval County Jail on two murder charges.

Police did not say whether the suspect and victim are related.

JSO said it will work closely with the State Attorney’s Office as the case proceeds.
