In Wednesday’s Powerball draw, tickets sold in California, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina each matched the first five numbers, earning their holders a cool $1 million, despite missing the Powerball number.
WASHINGTON — With no grand prize winner in the latest draw, the Powerball jackpot has now swelled to an impressive $719 million, up from the $681 million offered on Wednesday.
Although the jackpot remained elusive, these four lucky tickets still managed to secure a substantial reward by aligning the first five numbers, falling short only by the Powerball itself.
The jackpot has remained unclaimed since September 6, when two tickets successfully matched all six numbers, resulting in a monumental $1.8 billion windfall.
If you participated in Wednesday’s drawing, you might want to double-check your ticket against these winning numbers:
The numbers drawn were 7, 8, 15, 19, 28, with the Powerball being 3.
