Harry Styles is currently in a high-profile relationship with Olivia Wilde. But over the past decade the singer has been in the spotlight, he’s been involved with several different women. Fans have always loved speculating about Styles. But although many headlines are written about the star, he’s consistently maintained some boundaries with the press.
However, a lot was going on behind the scenes with the award-winning singer. In a 2022 interview with Better Homes & Gardens, Styles opened up about how the intense speculation affected him, noting that it even caused him to feel “ashamed” of his sex life at one point.

Harry Styles initially rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction. Bur after he emerged as a solo artist, he really began to shine. In 2017, Styles released his debut solo album, Harry Styles. The album spawned the hit single “Sign of the Times” and alerted all of his critics of his talent as a solo artist. Styles went on to release his album Fine Line in 2019. His third studio album, Harry’s House, drops in late May 2022.
Even as Styles has worked on his music, he’s established himself as a fashion icon. Styles embraces unique looks. And between his boundary-pushing fashion and his relationships with A-list celebrities like Taylor Swift, there has been a lot of tabloid speculation about his private life.

In Styles’ interview with Better Homes & Gardens, the singer talked about how the headlines about him affected his feelings toward his sex life. “For a long time, it felt like the only thing that was mine was my sex life. I felt so ashamed about it, ashamed at the idea of people even knowing that I was having sex, let alone who with,” Styles said.
“At the time, there were still the kiss-and-tell things. Working out who I could trust was stressful,” Styles told the publication, addressing the imbalance between the image people have of a boy-band star and the reality of his life as a human being. “But I think I got to a place where I was like, why do I feel ashamed? I’m a 26-year-old man who’s single; it’s like, yes, I have sex.”

Styles’ high-profile romances over the past several years often led to speculation. Perhaps most notably regarding the long-time on-again-off-again relationship he had with model Kendall Jenner. Although Styles refused to define their relationship or even confirm whether the two ever actually dated, they were spotted together on multiple occasions from 2012 through 2015. They even vacationed in St. Barts.
Styles also spent time with fellow singer Taylor Swift. The two reportedly dated for a brief time in 2012 before splitting up in early 2013. While Styles has not directly discussed the romance with Swift, she has written several songs that are allegedly about her romance with Styles, including the tune “Style,” which tells the story of a doomed relationship.
These days, however, Styles is in a committed relationship with Olivia Wilde. The two connected in late 2020 and have been together ever since — and reportedly, they are very happy.
