Many experts believed that the Attorney General had made significant promises but ultimately did not deliver on potential new findings in the investigation concerning the convicted pedophile. On Monday, the Department of Justice clarified that there is no existing “client list” associated with Epstein and affirmed that his death at the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) in Manhattan was a result of suicide, not foul play. This conclusion dissatisfied numerous observers, including reportedly, Dan Bongino.

Several media outlets suggested that FBI Director Kash Patel might resign if Bongino decided to step down. However, on Friday night, John Solomon, the founder, editor-in-chief, and veteran political journalist from Just the News, refuted that claim.

Kash Patel is going nowhere unless the president tries to move Kash Patel. He’s there for the long haul.

On the Just the News website, they teased Solomon’s announcement by saying they had a “unique episode” to share:

Tonight’s episode is a special edition featuring live coverage from Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA Student Action Summit 2025. During the show, host John Solomon delivers some significant breaking news regarding the most talked-about story of the day: the ongoing discussions in the MAGA community about the Jeffrey Epstein case and how it has led Dan Bongino to take a leave from his role as Deputy Director of the FBI.

Solomon went on to detail that Bongino is still mulling his options, but Patel is not going anywhere because he is too involved with a huge Russiagate investigation looking into matters over an entire decade.

Watch:

He says Kash Patel isn’t going anywhere and all rumors related to him are not true, but Dan Bongino is in fact taking a few days [to] consider if he wants to stay on the Job…

VELYKA NOVOSILKA, DONBAS, UKRAINE - MARCH 7: Ukrainian servicemen of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army patrol around the town of Velyka Novosilka, Ukraine March 7, 2023. The frontline around the city of Vuhledar, a strategic rail and road hub south of Bakhmut, resembles an apocalyptic scenario. Destroyed buildings and burned cars are scattered at both sides of the road. There, hidden on basements of abandoned houses, the Ukrainian Volunteer Army hold their positions against relentless attacks by Russian forces. Under the threat of the enemyâs artillery, that echoes through the village, soldiers hold their fortified positions in shifts of 12h. In recent days, they said, they have been able to repel several Russian offensives. (Photo by Ignacio Marin Fernandez/Anadolu Agency via Getty Images)
