CHICAGO (WLS) — The annual Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago has wrapped up, with large crowds departing down Columbus Avenue on Sunday night.
The weekend boasted pleasant weather and witnessed a record-breaking turnout, culminating in a headline performance by Sabrina Carpenter on Sunday.

“It’s amazing here. I love it so much. I love the city,” said Deer Park resident Olivia Koroviles.
Large crowds took in more than 170 artists this weekend in Grant Park.
“It’s incredible. So fun, but crowded,” remarked Maya, visiting from California. “I keep saying I want to move here because the city’s so welcoming; you never want to leave.”
Fans say the diversity that comes with this festival is always special as many traveled in from different states and countries.
“It’s chaotic. You see people from around the globe. Many tourists come to Chicago, and it’s fascinating to see their different styles,” added locals Elia and Kaelya.
Big-name acts impressed the audiences, with Olivia Rodrigo drawing an unprecedented number of fans on Friday.
On Sunday, fans pulled up in their best outfits for Carpenter, headlining the final day of action.
All of it made for another successful weekend of Lolla with the special atmosphere summertime in Chicago offers.
“The atmosphere with the people and food is thrilling. Just strolling through Chicago reveals its beauty,” shared Erika and Ryan from the suburbs.
