Savannah Guthrie Announces $1 Million Family Reward for Safe Return of Missing Nancy Guthrie

TUCSON, Ariz. — In a heartfelt Instagram video released Tuesday morning, Savannah Guthrie revealed that her family is offering a reward of up to $1 million for any information leading to the recovery of her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie.

The 84-year-old went missing from her Tucson residence during the night of February 1, and authorities suspect abduction.

The family is also contributing $500,000 to support the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, as mentioned by the “Today” show host in her social media post.

“Please continue to pray without ceasing,” Guthrie expressed in the video. “We hold onto hope, believing in the possibility of a miracle. We believe she can return home. As my sister often says, we are nurturing the embers of hope.”

In the accompanying caption, she encouraged anyone with relevant information to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324).

“Anonymity is assured — or find a way to reach out to me personally,” she added.

Nancy Guthrie was last seen on Jan. 31 after going to dinner at the home of her other daughter, Annie. When she failed to meet friends for church the following morning, the family went to check on her and called 911 to report her missing around noon.

This is a developing news story; check back for updates.
