A music teacher at a Miami high school is facing serious allegations after reportedly frightening a teenage student by kissing her between the breasts and confessing his unreciprocated affection for her, as detailed in an arrest warrant.

Rudolph Infante, a 53-year-old educator at Miami Southridge Senior High School, allegedly lifted his shirt to reveal a tattoo of two hearts on his ribcage. According to the arrest report obtained by the Miami Herald, he explained to the student that one heart was meant to symbolize her and the other himself.

Infante began instructing the student in piano lessons in August 2025. However, the situation soon became unsettling for the student due to his inappropriate comments and behavior, which included uncomfortable “side hugs” and reportedly grabbing her buttocks, as stated in the warrant.

According to WPLG, Infante allegedly remarked to the student, “If only I was 30 years younger,” and further expressed, “You are so beautiful… I can’t wait to be with you,” leaving the student feeling distressed.

In one particularly troubling incident, court documents claim Infante pulled the student onto his lap while she was seated, holding her by the waist. He then allegedly “leaned forward and kissed her on the chest area between her breasts,” an action that left the teenager feeling frightened.

He then “leaned forward and kissed her on the chest area between her breasts,” the teen told investigators, adding that “she felt afraid.”

The teacher would also “touch her shoulder, back, or arm” and on multiple occasions placed “his hand on her buttocks,” the girl told police.

She told detectives that in October Infante took her phone out of her hands while she was using the Notes app and typed in, “Call Rudy,” along with his phone number.

The student said she was afraid to reject Infante, who is 6 feet tall and weighs about 225 pounds, and eventually stopped trying “because she felt he would not listen to her,” according to police.

She reported him to school authorities in February. It was not clear how old the accuser is.

Infante was ordered to held under house arrest by a judge on Saturday.

He was arrested on Friday and is charged with four counts of battery and one count of offenses against students by authority figures.

Infante pleaded not guilty to the charges and was released on a $14,000 bond. He is under mandatory house arrest with an ankle monitor and was told by the judge was also told to stay away from the girl and all schools.

Miami-Dade County Public Schools said they have started the process of terminating Infante’s employment.
