A man in Florida has been sentenced to four months in prison following an unusual robbery at a Taco Bell drive-thru. The individual, shirtless and wielding a “large rock,” leaped through the window to carry out the crime.
Kewarren Lee Anderson, aged 40, was apprehended in July after a K9 unit from the Ocala Police Department discovered him hiding behind a dumpster.
According to the police, Anderson entered the fast-food restaurant through the drive-thru window, holding a “large rock.” He then demanded money from both employees and patrons, forcing everyone to evacuate the premises, as reported by Ocala-News.com.

After making his escape from the restaurant, Anderson was swiftly located by a police K9.
Body camera footage from the scene captured Anderson in a state of distress behind the dumpster, with his hands raised in surrender when the K9 approached him.
According to body camera footage, Anderson was seen behind the dumpster panicking as he held his hands up in surrender when he was approached by the K9.
It is unclear how much cash Anderson was able to take before running away.

Anderson was homeless during the robbery and told police he needed money, according to an arrest affidavit, News 6 reported.
Just hours after he was taken into custody, Anderson was involved in a physical altercation with another incarcerated person.

Anderson was charged with armed robbery and battery by a person at a detention facility in connection with the two incidents.
He was found guilty on both charges last week and sentenced to four years in prison, excluding the time he had already served in the Marion County Jail.
