In a spirited tribute to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, “Dancing with the Stars” showcased the remaining eight couples dancing to timeless rock anthems. The evening was a celebration of classic hits, bringing a unique blend of music and movement to the stage in Los Angeles.

Adding a special flair to the judging panel was Flavor Flav, an inductee of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame himself. He joined regular judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli, lending his expertise and enthusiasm as the evening’s guest judge.

The night wasn’t solely about music and dance; it also included a nod to the Los Angeles Dodgers’ recent World Series triumph. In a vibrant display, the dance troupe donned the iconic Dodger blue and wielded baseball bats as props, performing to Randy Newman’s “I Love L.A.”—a track that resonates throughout Dodger Stadium after each victory.

Each couple took on a partnered routine, choosing from styles such as the Paso Doble, Jive, Contemporary, Viennese Waltz, or Jazz. This was followed by the annual team challenge, divided into two groups who performed to live music from legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Fame bands, Chicago and Kool & the Gang.

In a delightful twist, cohosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough joined in on the excitement, participating alongside the teams in their performances.

Here’s a breakdown of the judges’ scores, reflecting both the individual and team efforts on this rock-infused evening:

  • Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas with 79 points
  • Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa with 78 points
  • Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy with 77 points
  • Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach with 76 points
  • Robert Irwin and Witney Carson with 76 points
  • Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten with 75 points
  • Danielle Fishel and Pasha Pashkov with 74 points
  • Danielle Fishel and Pasha Pashkov with 68 points

Of course, the points are only part of the equation. Viewer votes count for a lot, and in the end, actress and director Danielle Fishel and her partner Pasha Pashkov eliminated from the competition. Fishel said being on the show had truly been life changing.

“Making it eight weeks with this type of competition feels great. I had so much fun every single week,” Fishel said. “We poured everything into it, so it was the journey it was meant to be.”

Next week, “Dancing with the Stars” will be celebrating its 20th anniversary with a giant, dance-filled, all-star celebration.
