Wild video shows brutal altercation on American Airlines flight in Miami: 'Call the police!'

A video capturing a chaotic scene aboard an American Airlines flight shows two men clashing in the aisle after one allegedly seized a woman’s neck as travelers were exiting the aircraft.

The video, obtained by TMZ, caught the confrontation on American Airlines Flight 2249 as the plane arrived in Miami on Monday.

In the footage, one man seems to forcibly grip a woman in the plane’s aisle and shove her, prompting another male passenger to quickly step in and break up the confrontation.

A “safety alert” announcement can be heard in the background.

According to Business Insider, flight attendants have reported almost 13,000 cases of “unruly passenger incidents” to the Federal Aviation Administration since 2021. The report mentions that the stressors of air travel can often lead people to act out, as they feel they have little control over the situation.

The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office confirmed to TMZ that deputies responded to a report of battery after the incident.

However, no arrests were made. It is unclear what the passengers were arguing about during the incident.

One of the men fled the scene, while the other declined to press charges.

Fox News Digital reached out to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office and American Airlines for comment.
