In a brazen car theft at a Brooklyn Lowe’s parking lot, four young men made off with a vehicle, leaving two women — including a 72-year-old who relies on a walker — injured in their wake, according to police reports.
The incident occurred on Wednesday around 4:20 p.m. at a Lowe’s in Mill Basin. The two women, aged 72 and 48, were loading their Toyota Corolla when the group of suspects approached, authorities reported.
One of the men quickly jumped into the driver’s seat of the Corolla and took off, striking the older woman with her walker and causing the younger woman to fall to the ground, officials said.
Three of the suspects sped away in the stolen Toyota, while the fourth fled the scene in a black Nissan, police stated.

Though the women sustained minor injuries from the incident, they declined medical treatment at the scene, as confirmed by law enforcement.
The police are actively searching for the four suspects, who are estimated to be between 18 and 20 years old, in connection with this carjacking.
Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
