Shocking Murder Accusation: Orange Park Woman Charged in Husband's Death

ORANGE PARK, Fla. — Authorities have taken a woman into custody on charges of fatally shooting her husband at his residence in Orange Park.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office apprehended 33-year-old Jasmine Brown a day after discovering her husband, Kerbisson Sion, shot on a roadway near his Gano Court home. Reports indicate that the 30-year-old victim was living separately from Brown at the time of the incident.

According to the sheriff’s office, Brown visited Sion’s home during the early morning hours, leading to a confrontation between the two. It is believed that Sion was shot and killed around 5:15 a.m.

Brown was later located at an apartment complex on Sunbeam Road in Jacksonville, with assistance from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. Authorities from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office arrested her on charges of second-degree murder after she consented to return to Clay County.

Investigators are seeking further information related to the case and urge anyone with details to reach out to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office at 904-264-6512. Anonymous tips can be submitted through the SaferWatch app or First Coast Crime Stoppers.
