In a chilling discovery, San Jose police have uncovered a body inside a truck that was so severely decomposed that identifying the victim on sight proved impossible.
The discovery was made on March 21, when officers responded to a call near the intersection of Francis Drive and McKee Road. Upon arrival, they encountered the grim scene inside the vehicle.
The remains, found in a red 2010 Nissan Frontier, were in such an advanced state of decay that the officers had to rely on the expertise of the Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner for identification.

According to police records, the vehicle is registered to Aldama Refugio Jr., a 40-year-old San Jose resident who was reported missing earlier in the year. This has led investigators to explore the possibility that the remains could belong to him, with suspicions of foul play lingering in the air.
