According to the Shorewood Police Department, the young man, identified as Ryan Dube, is facing serious charges after the events unfolded on a quiet Thursday afternoon.

Authorities were alerted to the domestic disturbance after receiving a 911 call from the 200-block of South Ravinia Drive. Upon their arrival, officers witnessed a troubling scene. Dube was reportedly seen assaulting his mother, pushing her to the ground. Prior to their arrival, police reports indicate that Dube had already subjected her to physical violence inside their home, striking her face and neck.
