Smithsonian Explaining Why It Changed Presidential History Display Leaves 'Resist Trump' Media in Tears

Since President Trump was re-elected in November 2024, leftists have been extremely upset about not being able to lead the “Resist Trump” movement from within. In March, as noted by RedState, the president introduced an executive order titled “Restoring Truth and Sanity to American History,” targeting the Smithsonian Institution.

Later in July, my colleague Jim Thompson reported on how the Smithsonian incorporated progressive political views into pop culture exhibits, detracting from their originals. Thompson stated:

…It seems the Smithsonian is filled with ideologues. Lately, through biased exhibit descriptions and the removal of significant historical figures and events, the museum attempts to educate visitors with viewpoints that clash with the values of many Americans.
