A shooting unfolded in the Springfield neighborhood around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to police reports.

In Jacksonville, Florida, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has reported that a man sustained injuries in a shooting but is expected to recover, as his condition is not life-threatening.

Officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of Hubbard Street following reports of a shooting incident. Upon their arrival, they discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. The individual was promptly taken to a nearby hospital and is currently stable, police confirmed.

Authorities stated that the victim was walking in the vicinity when an unidentified suspect approached and shot him.
