A hop, skip and arrest.
A suspect involved in an assault tried to evade arrest by playing a real-life version of Frogger, dodging cars on a busy Los Angeles freeway. Despite his efforts, he was eventually caught, and the entire incident, recorded by a police drone, later amused the officers.
The male suspect, whose identity remains unknown, was captured on video by the City of Corona Police Department on September 11, as he darted through swiftly moving vehicles on the 91 Freeway.

In the dramatic aerial footage, the daring suspect is observed maneuvering through traffic, narrowly missing two speeding 18-wheelers, and crossing numerous lanes before disappearing into a nearby residential area.
“You can dodge a ball. But you can’t dodge a drone,” CPD joked in its Facebook post, which featured a clip of the 2004 movie “Dodgeball.”
They also included an arcade game-esque soundtrack while showing the perp’s flight across the freeway.

The recording continued as the suspect wound his way through alleys and backyards. Eventually, he was located by police officers, subdued with a taser, and taken into custody, as shown in the video.
The department did not yet announce any charges.
