Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell reunited in Dallas just days after the actress called off her wedding to fiancé Jonathan Davino.

The Euphoria star, 27 – who recently posed without her engagement ring in sultry snaps – was spotted spending time with the Top Gun: Maverick actor, 36, in Texas in photos shared by gossip site DeuxMoi on Instagram. 

Back in 2023, the two stars were notably embroiled in romance speculation while they promoted their romantic comedy Anyone But You. 

Sweeney joined Powell at his sister Leslie’s wedding rehearsal dinner at Joe Leo Fine Tex Mex over the weekend. 

She was also spotted enjoying brunch with some of his family members on a separate occasion – but Glen was not seen on that specific outing, according to a source.

In the pictures, Sydney was stylish wearing a fitted, long-sleeved ensemble and allowed her blonde locks to flow down past her shoulders in light waves.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Sweeney and Davino had called off their wedding amid ‘major issues’ – with their nuptials initially set to take place later this year in May; seen in 2018 in L.A. 

Powell – who moved back to his home state of Texas last year – donned a green polo shirt as he joined both the actress and the large group at the restaurant. 

He could be seen sitting at table while sipping on tasty drinks and at one point, the star flashed a small smile during a conversation. 

In one image, the actress was spotted mingling with other guests that were at the rehearsal dinner in Texas. 

However, a separate insider told TMZ that Glen and Sydney did not attend the dinner as a couple. 

They also emphasized that the blonde beauty was accompanied by her best friend to the wedding – which she had RSVP’d for way before she postponed her wedding to Davino. 

The source informed the outlet that Sweeney is ‘very close’ to Powell’s sister Leslie and is also ‘good friends’ with his family.

The post garnered thousands of likes – with Powell notably being one of the millions who liked the snaps. 

During a past interview with Business Insider, the actor opened up about using their ‘authentic chemistry’ when it came to promoting Anyone But You. 

‘I don’t have the mental capacity to pull anything like this off, but she’s very smart. She’s very smart. I had such a wonderful journey with her on this thing. But in terms of actual dating and actually being together? [Laughs.].’

A source told Us Weekly that while the pair have called off the wedding, they have yet to break up. 

‘Sydney and Jonathan have been having major issues but are not fully split. Things are not great right now, but they aren’t throwing in the towel yet. They are working on their relationship but have called off the wedding for now. 

‘They were supposed to get married this spring. The wedding is not happening, and they aren’t having further discussions about it. Sydney wanted to cancel everything and couldn’t handle the stress,’ the insider added. 

The source also expressed that, ‘A lot of their issues stem from Sydney being extremely busy with work commitment.’

Sweeney ‘doesn’t have a lot of downtime, and it causes tension in their relationship. Sydney is really focused on her career. Jonathan wishes they were able to spend more quality time together.’ 

The insider added, ‘Things are also always tense between them when she is promoting a movie because she has to give her full attention to the project…

‘And people always speculate about their relationship and Sydney being close to her costars. It’s a tough dynamic for Jonathan.’

Earlier this month, the actress first sparked breakup speculation with Davino – nearly one month after it was revealed the pair postponed their May wedding.

The star reportedly was staying at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel since mid-February, per TMZ, but Davino did not join her. 

Instead, the beauty was accompanied by some of her close gal pals and was spotted grabbing a bite to eat at the Polo Lounge inside the hotel. 

Sydney and Jonathan – who were first romantically linked in 2018 and became engaged in 2022 – were last seen together in January as they stepped out in New York City.

Last month in February, TMZ reported that the star’s wedding to Davino had been postponed after a date had been set for May of this year.

Sources informed the publication that the pair’s busy schedules could have possibly been a factor in the delay.

In 2023, Sweeney had briefly opened up about wedding plans and said she hasn’t had much time to begin sorting details during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

‘I am so busy working! I’m a workaholic and I love it, I love it,’ Sweeney expressed to the outlet.

She notably poked fun during the show at affair rumors that surrounded her and her Anyone But You costar Glen Powell, who also made a surprise cameo during the episode.

‘But the craziest rumor is that I was having an affair with my costar Glen Powell. That’s obviously not true,’ Sweeney stated while addressing the studio audience.

‘Me and my fiancé produced the movie together, and he was there the entire shoot,’ she explained.

The premise, ‘Follows a struggling woman who is happy to start over as a housemaid for an affluent, elite couple,’ per IMDB.

Other cast members aside from Sweeney and Sklenar include Amanda Seyfried and Michele Morrone.
