Kyle Walker was reportedly teased endlessly by team-mates over rumours of his relationship with reality star Lauryn Goodman.

MailOnline revealed on Thursday the Manchester City star, 33, has fathered a second child with Goodman, the latest blow to his marriage which has been marred by cheating allegations.

His wife Annie Kilner, 30, announced on Sunday the couple, who have been together for 13 years and share three children, would be separating.

According to the Sun, Walker had been on the receiving end of jokes rumours about Goodman, but have now held back due the England defender ‘struggling’.

‘Kyle is really going through it at the minute so his football mates are holding back,’ a source close to Walker told the Sun. 

‘But over the last three years he’s been ribbed endlessly by them.

‘It’s a big part of the culture to have this kind of banter and over the years Kyle has been on the receiving end of so many jokes about Lauryn. He laughs it off and takes it all.

‘At the moment he’s been struggling with it all and everything that is happening with Annie.

‘But the mates he goes out with will be turning the jokes back on as soon as it passes.’

Walker, who has been kicked out of £2.4million marital home, has spoken out in support of his Annie on Instagram by describing his wife as an ‘amazing woman.’

In a message posted to his 4.6million followers on Friday, Walker wrote: ‘Annie is an amazing woman and I can only apologise for the upset I’ve caused her.

‘She’s been part of my life for so long and that will never change for the sake of our children.

‘I would ask for privacy for all of our family, and especially our young children, whilst we work through these difficult times.’

Walker’s fathering reality star’s Goodman’s second child, her five-month-old daughter only known as KW, is the latest in a long line of wrongdoings by the England ace.

Although the revelation did not spark the separation, as Kilner has known about the baby being Walker’s for some time, the culmination of misdemeanours simply took its toll and his wife now has a need for some time out from the relationship.

Walker, who also shares a three-year-old son, Kairo, with Goodman after they embarked on a brief romance during his temporary split from his wife in 2019, is no longer in contact with the reality star, who has been dropping not-so-subtle hints about him being her daughter’s father since Annie’s separation announcement.

Kilner announced via her Instagram account that she was separating with Walker after 13 years.

The pair, who met in their home city of Sheffield, share three children, Riaan, Roman and Reign.

Her Instagram post read: ‘Sadly, after many years of marriage and three wonderful children together, I have decided to take some time away from Kyle.

‘I do not wish to comment on the position any further. For now, I ask that the privacy of myself and my three young children be respected during this difficult time.’

It comes after MailOnline revealed that friends of Kilner and Walker believe the WAG could be pregnant with the couple’s fourth child.

Sources close to the estranged couple have said they will be ‘thrilled’ if she is.

Meanwhile, one suggested that Kilner might be just two months from giving birth.

When approached last night, Kilner’s representative said that an announcement was forthcoming.

Walker and Kilner’s relationship was marred with allegations surrounding the England star’s infidelity, but his partner would always take him back. 

There were claims he held a sex party in lockdown with escorts and shared texts with a Playboy model while away on international duty.

There was also a vehement Facebook denial eight years ago that he was in any way linked to an explicit and sickening video involving a woman.

After Walker was caught on CCTV in a bar apparently flashing friends and fondling a mystery blonde woman’s breasts last year, his wife famously posted on social media: ‘No matter how good you are to people, it won’t make them good to you.’

Walker’s off pitch scandals have not seemed to affect his life on the pitch.

He won the Treble with Manchester City last season and was named club captain by manager Pep Guardiola following the departure of previous skipper Ilkay Gundogan.

Last month, Walker lifted the FIFA World Club Cup trophy after captaining the team to a 4-0 win over Brazilian side Fluminense in Saudi Arabia.

The victory meant City became the first team to hold the Premier League, FA Cup, Champion League and Wolds Club Cup trophies simultaneously.

Walker also remains a key player in Gareth Southgate’s England side, where he has amassed 81 caps, scoring his first Three Lions goal against Ukraine in September.
