A rising TikTok star has been discovered deceased at her residence, prompting a police investigation into a suspected poisoning scheme.

Sumera Rajput’s devastated teenage daughter has alleged that her mother was killed after being forced to consume tainted pills.

Authorities have arrested and interrogated two individuals regarding the mysterious death of the emerging influencer.

The Pakistani TikToker was discovered in the Bago Wah area of Sindh’s Ghotki district with no obvious cause of death.

After hearing the tragic news, Rajput’s 15-year-old daughter and her brother told police they believe she was targeted.

The young girl alleged alleged her mother was killed by individuals who had spent years pressuring her into agreeing to a forced marriage.

She claimed her mum was given poisonous tablets which led to her death, Geo News reports.

Her brother also made the same accusation.

Despite the pair of arrests, cops are yet to address the allegations despite mounting pressure from the victim’s family.

Police are said to be investigating Rajput’s death to determine whether any foul play was involved.

An autopsy has been ordered but the results are yet to be confirmed.

Rajput had thousands of followers and over a million likes on TikTok.

She would often post videos of her family, participate in the latest trends and sing for her audience.

Fears are now growing that Rajput may be the latest victim in a string of targeted attacks on female influencers in Pakistan.

Last month, 17-year-old TikToker Sana Yousaf was shot dead at her home in Islamabad by a man who she had rejected on several occasions.

Umar Hayat, 22, has been arrested in Pakistan and confessed to the murder, according to police.

Authorities believe Hayat murdered Yousaf after she turned down his “offers of friendship”.

He broke into her home and fired two fatal shots before stealing her phone and fleeing the scene, say police.
