CHICAGO (WLS) — Tragedy struck early Thursday morning on the Bishop Ford Freeway when a rollover crash claimed the lives of two individuals and left three others injured, according to Illinois State Police.
The incident unfolded around 1:15 a.m. at the northbound I-94 ramp near 111th Street. The single-vehicle accident resulted in two fatalities and sent three others to the hospital. Of the injured, one is in critical condition, while the remaining two are reported to be in stable condition.

Family members have identified the deceased as a 17-year-old boy and a man in his 20s, both associated with the Empire Dance Company. The loss has sent shockwaves through their community.
Angelo Hango, the mother of the teenage victim, Bo, shared her grief. Bo was a junior at the Art in Motion Art School in the South Shore neighborhood. “Bo could light up any party,” Hango recalled. “He just loved having fun. To see his life cut short in such a way is unimaginable. Until I see him, it won’t fully sink in, so I am trying to stay calm and composed for now.”

“Bo, he could be the life of any party,” Hango said. “He was. He just liked to have fun. And for his life to be cut short over something like this, it is not imaginable. Until I put my eyes on him, it really won’t set in, so I am really calm and reserved right now. “
The northbound lanes of the Bishop Ford Freeway were closed at 111th Street and have since reopened.
