In a tragic incident in Los Angeles’ Westwood area, three individuals lost their lives and several others sustained injuries when a car plowed into a local grocery store. This incident was reported by local authorities.
The Los Angeles Fire Department stated that the crash occurred around 12:11 p.m. local time on Westwood Boulevard. Emergency crews quickly responded to the scene to manage the situation.
Witnesses reported that several people were initially trapped beneath the vehicle, according to LAFD spokesperson Lyndsey Lantz, who spoke with ABC7 Eyewitness News.

Authorities confirmed that three people were pronounced dead at the scene. Additionally, three more individuals were transported to the hospital with serious injuries, and two others suffered minor injuries.
