Officials investigating after deadly crane collapse in commercial area north of Boston

Tragedy struck just north of Boston on Friday, as a crane collapse at a commercial site resulted in at least one fatality. The incident occurred in Everett, Massachusetts, on a barge positioned along the Mystic River.

Everett Fire Chief Joseph Hickey confirmed that, in addition to the deceased, another individual was transported to a hospital following the collapse. The extent of injuries to this person remains undisclosed, and it is currently unclear if there are any more casualties or individuals injured.
