Manner of death revealed for passenger who plunged 50 feet at Indianapolis airport

A tragic incident unfolded at the Indianapolis airport over the weekend, as authorities confirmed a 38-year-old woman died by suicide after falling from a terminal deck.

On Saturday at approximately 12:15 p.m., the woman tragically fell 50 feet from the outer edge of the Upper Terminal Drive at Indianapolis International Airport.

The Marion County Coroner’s Office officially ruled her death a suicide on Monday.

According to Fox 59, her cause of death was recorded as “Blunt Force of the Trunk and Extremities.”

Airport dispatchers, who were monitoring security cameras, witnessed the fall and observed emergency responders’ earnest efforts to save her.
