In a tragic incident early Monday morning, a man was fatally struck while waiting at a bus stop near the Staten Island Mall, police reported.

Authorities stated that the 40-year-old man was standing at the MTA bus stop located at Ring Road and Platinum Avenue when he was hit by an out-of-control vehicle around 12:30 a.m.
