Trump Calls Democrats' Bluff, Demands Republicans Release the Epstein Files

Trump Challenges Democrats: Urges GOP to Unveil Epstein Documents

In a recent post on his Truth Social platform, former President Trump has called on House Republicans to support the release of documents connected to the disgraced financier, Jeffrey Epstein.

This appeal seems to challenge Democratic lawmakers, who appeared uninterested in these files during President Biden’s term, but now seem eager to leverage them for political gain against their adversaries.

While Trump has previously minimized the significance of shedding light on Epstein-related documents, he now asserts that it’s time to disclose any relevant information and move past what he describes as a “hoax.”

“House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party…” he stated.

Trump argues that Democrats are using the Epstein issue to divert attention from their own challenges, such as the government shutdown, while overshadowing the achievements of his administration, including tax reforms, reduced expenses, and substantial domestic investment.

“Nobody cared about Jeffrey Epstein when he was alive, and, if the Democrats had anything, they would have released it before our Landslide Election Victory,” he further remarked.

Which is thoroughly accurate. The resistance party pulled out every arrow they had in the quiver to stop Trump from being elected, including having him arrested, indicted, and nearly killed by inciting violence against him. You don’t think any provable link to Epstein would have been revealed by now?

President Trump also called out Republicans for falling for the silly games, an apparent jab at Representatives Thomas Massie (KY-4) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA-14), who have made the Epstein files a showcase of their latest attention-seeking missions.

“Some ‘members’ of the Republican Party are being ‘used,’ and we can’t let that happen,” the president continued. “Let’s start talking about the Republican Party’s record-setting achievements, and not fall into the Epstein ‘TRAP.’”

On that note, Trump also reminded followers that he has advised the Department of Justice to look into ties between Epstein and various Democrat operatives and donors, including former President Bill Clinton.

This is setting up to be a massive backfire for the Democrat party.

While the opposition party initially felt they had some momentum on the matter, even going so far as to accuse President Trump of being a pedophile on social media, things have not gone well since.

They tried hiding the name of the victim in their redacted email dumps because that victim was actually someone who had stated under oath that the President never acted inappropriately with her and that she never saw him with Epstein. They attempted to claim that Trump spent Thanksgiving with Epstein while he was serving in his first term, only to have to delete their post on the matter when it was easily disproven. One of them was also caught texting with Epstein as he helped steer their questioning during a congressional hearing in February 2019.

And now, they’ve insisted upon the release of the Epstein files, something they easily could have done while controlling both the House and the Senate in Biden’s first two years as president. They may well get their wish, with the House expected to vote on the matter this week.

Will they end up regretting it?
