Trump Mocks 'No Kings' Protests: 'I'm Not a King—I Work My A** Off'

President Donald Trump addressed the “No Kings” protesters by dismissing them as insignificant and ineffective, emphasizing his commitment to “working hard to make our country great.”

These remarks came as Trump answered reporters’ questions before stepping off Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews on Sunday night.

He characterized the protests, which some on the left regard as a triumph, as a “joke” and downplayed their impact.

“I observed the protesters. They don’t represent our country,” Trump stated. “I noticed all the new signs, apparently funded by Soros and other radical left activists. It seemed worth a look.”

“The demonstrations were small and ineffective, with participants who seemed out of touch. They do not reflect the broader American populace,” he added.

Trump’s comments suggest that the protesters are a minority unwilling to accept the election results, largely composed of individuals from a specific demographic. Meanwhile, he asserts that the MAGA movement remains a dominant force in the country.

The president went on to note that he is far from royalty.

“I’m not a king,” Trump said. “I work my a** off to make our country great. That’s all it is. I’m not a king at all.”

Hot Takes: ‘No Kings’ Protests Across the Country (and World) Highlight Rebels Without a Clue

Not a word of what President Trump said is untrue. He does, in fact, work his a** off like no president we have ever seen in our lifetime. These protesters were perfectly content with a man whose brain had dissolved into a puddle of mush being walked around very rarely in public like “Weekend at Bernie’s” for four years, yet can’t comprehend a man working tirelessly to make the country better.

They were okay with the country being run by autopen. They were pleased as punch when the last king implemented mask and vaccine mandates, and tried to get people fired for their personal medical decisions. And they were thrilled when that same king repeatedly tried to jail his political opponents.

Biden or whoever was running the country the previous four years was the true “king.”

As for the signs – well, RedState ace journalist Jennifer Oliver O’Connell has a tremendous rundown of some of the “rebels without a clue” who attended this past weekend’s rally.

For me, and I know this is a little more subtle than the other placards worthy of mockery, this sign is one of my favorites. A protester claiming King Trump is “criminalizing protests” … while they’re standing freely on a public street … protesting.

That’s just a personal preference. One that made me chuckle. That’s not to say there weren’t some truly vile signs out there calling for the death of the President.

While some just openly celebrated the death of conservatives in general.

President Trump isn’t the only one who had to level “No Kings” protesters with a healthy dose of reality. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) succinctly explained why the protesters aren’t even vaguely living in the real world.

“If President Trump was a king, the government would be open right now.” he told ABC News. “If President Trump was a king, they would not have been able to engage in that free speech exercise.”

If Trump is a King running roughshod over the government and cracking down on free speech, he’s doing a very, very bad job of it.

Let these court jesters cry. Let them hold their little protests. Tell their therapists where on the doll the “King” has hurt them. In the end, none of it matters. Trump is still their president and there’s little they can do about it outside of these embarrassing public temper tantrums.

At the end of the day, they all went home and had a good cry on their basement couch after realizing Trump still has 1,188 days left in his second term after being elected by the American people, not having been installed by a monarchy.

Editor’s Note: The Schumer Shutdown is here. Rather than put the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats forced a government shutdown for healthcare for illegals. They own this.
