In a conversation with Fox News host Sean Hannity, President Donald Trump offered some humorous advice on how the Democrats could improve their performance in elections.
Trump initiated the discussion by highlighting that the opposition party appears directionless, primarily concentrating on supporting the idea of men competing in women’s sports.
“I think many of them are unsure of their current position. They’re uncertain about their next steps, like men playing in women’s sports,” the President noted.
Trump went on to point to an unnamed Democrat he saw on television fighting the fight to wreck women’s sports and found himself tempted to call and warn him he should probably get off the topic since it’s a “99-1” issue.
He said watching the lawmaker defend biological males playing in girls’ athletics was a “sad” display before dropping wisdom upon his political opponents.
“Look, in one way, I don’t like talking about it because I don’t want to talk them out of it because, you know, it would be harder to beat them if they were normal on things,” said Trump.
.@POTUS on the state of the Democrat Party: “It would be harder to beat them if they were normal on things… They’re almost insane. And they do suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome at a high level and I guess I’m honored by that.” pic.twitter.com/kPiYtt4UiN
