Neck rash caused by ‘preventative skin treatment,’ Trump doc says

President Trump’s physician recently addressed concerns regarding a conspicuous red rash on the president’s neck, attributing it to a “preventative skin treatment.” The appearance of the rash, which was visible during a Medal of Freedom ceremony at the White House, has sparked discussions about the 79-year-old leader’s health.

The reddish patch, prominently displayed on the right side of Trump’s neck, seemed to emanate from beneath his collar, raising eyebrows and prompting inquiries. Dr. Sean Barbabella, the White House Doctor, issued a statement explaining that the president is undergoing a routine skin treatment involving a common cream. This treatment, according to Dr. Barbabella, was prescribed as a preventive measure.

“President Trump is using this cream on the right side of his neck as part of a preventative regimen,” Dr. Barbabella clarified. “The treatment is expected to last one week, with the associated redness potentially persisting for several weeks.”

While the physician’s statement did not specify the exact skin condition necessitating this prescription, it left room for speculation. Possible conditions could range from eczema and allergic reactions to more complex issues like shingles. Notably, the statement also refrained from confirming whether the prescription itself triggered the rash.

This is not the first time President Trump’s health has been under scrutiny. Past instances include him reportedly dozing off during meetings, appearing with bruised hands, and undergoing undisclosed medical procedures. Additionally, he has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a condition that can lead to swelling in the legs and ankles, adding further layers to the public’s curiosity about his overall well-being.

Trump has previously drawn scrutiny for falling asleep during meetings, appearing with bruised hands often covered in makeup, revelations of unspecified medical imaging and a diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency, which can cause swelling in the legs and ankles.
