FDLE agents arrest woman accused of injecting facial fillers with no license

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement released images of a woman accused of practicing medicine without a license from her apartment.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Photos were shared by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement showing a woman who was reportedly detained by Jacksonville special agents on Thursday.

In their social media post, FDLE labeled the woman a “back-alley beautician,” claiming she was bringing in and administering a “mystery mail-order facial filler” to clients.

FDLE said she was operating out of her apartment without a medical license.

According to the post, the woman is a Ukrainian national in the United States on a work visa.

The investigation was conducted by FDLE, the Florida Department of Health, Homeland Security Investigations Tampa, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

The woman’s name has not been released.
