As investigators work to unravel the case against Charlie Kirk’s alleged killer, numerous questions linger about the events leading up to and following the moment the fatal shot was fired.

Kirk was shot while speaking at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University on September 10, launching an extensive manhunt as authorities hurried to locate the conservative activist’s assassin.

Within two days, Tyler Robinson was arrested in St. George, Utah, after his family recognized him from law enforcement photos of the suspect, prompting him to confess his involvement, authorities stated.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if the test results revealed other DNA profiles on the towel, profiles that are currently unknown,” Valentin told Fox News Digital. “Investigators are eager to determine whose DNA it is, because if someone’s DNA on the towel indicates they handled it around the time of the shooting, multiple DNA profiles suggest the involvement of more than one person.”

As new details emerge in the investigation, Valentin mentioned that forensic evidence will be crucial in uncovering what truly transpired on the day Kirk was assassinated.

“In many situations, it’s forensic evidence that solidifies your investigative findings,” Valentin said. “This appears to be one of those cases.”
