'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' talk about the drama and what they can do to get back to their MomTok roots

If you haven’t tuned into the third season of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” you’re in for a treat packed with intense drama!

“You’ll uncover a lot of underlying relationship challenges that might have gone unnoticed. Drama is inevitable,” Mayci Neeley shared with On The Red Carpet.

Indeed, the drama is at an all-time high! Be warned, spoilers lie ahead if you haven’t caught up yet.

Jessi confessed to an “affair” with Marciano, a storyline that picks up from last season’s tumultuous events at Vanderpump Villa. However, she contends that Marciano has been dishonest about the specifics. As Jessi and her husband, Jordan, grapple with the consequences, Mayci and Mikayla channel their inner detectives to extract the truth from Marciano.

Mikayla and Jace also opened up about some strains in their marriage.

Meanwhile, Jen Affleck made her return after stepping away for a mental health hiatus.

Demi also returned. There were allegations against Marciano, there was a public feud among the ladies and Demi tried to repair her relationship with MomTok.

Taylor’s relationship with Dakota was on-again-off-again, until a huge shocker at the end of the season possibly disintegrated any shot of them getting back together. After this season filmed, she was named the next “Bachelorette” and is currently filming her season.

Whitney, who’d left MomTok, came back after she heard “Dancing with the Stars” was looking to cast someone from the show. She got her wish. Both she and Jen both made it onto the show!

During one episode, Layla said the group was losing sight of what MomTok is.

“MomTok to me was and always will be friendship. And I hope that one day we can get back to that and get back to the root of why we initially started hanging out and making content together,” said Layla Taylor. “I think sometimes amidst all the drama and the fighting and the bickering and contracts and hair drama and just all the things, I think we lose sight of that and it’s definitely a bummer. Hopefully, with time, we’re able to get back to that, at least some of us women. I think that would be a great thing.”

“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” is streaming now on Hulu. And the season three reunion will premiere December 4.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Hulu and this ABC station.
