New: Infamous LA Rioter Filmed Throwing Rocks Through ICE Windshields Has Been Identified

The viral video that led to a widespread search features an individual wearing a motorcycle helmet, hurling rocks at the windshields of ICE vehicles. This alarming incident, which left one agent injured, occurred on a Saturday morning. Surprisingly, certain media outlets attempted to generate sympathy for the individual, labeling him a “demonstrator” and suggesting that including him on the FBI Most Wanted List was an unnecessary intensification.

Speaking to Fox News, Bondi announced that the man’s name is “Reyes” and that a search warrant was being executed as she gave the announcement.

BONDI: I’m sorry, the federal officer had injured his hand. He was wearing a mask. The FBI has identified him. Bill Essayli, our incredibly U.S. attorney out there, working with ATF, DEA, and the FBI, have been doing a remarkable job. That guy has just been identified, and they are doing a search warrant on his house as we speak, and he has been identified.

What exactly Reyes will be charged with when he’s caught wasn’t revealed by Bondi. Given how dangerous it is to throw large rocks through the windshield of a car traveling at high speeds, it’s possible attempted murder could be on the table, but we’ll have to wait and see how the DOJ wants to approach things. My assumption, and this is just an assumption, is that Bondi would not have revealed this news if there was any chance it could tip off Reyes, which leads me to believe an arrest is imminent.

This is a developing story, and RedState will provide updates as necessary.
