Vanessa Hudgens, Cole Tucker welcome second child

They’re all in this together.

Vanessa Hudgens, best known for her role in “High School Musical,” and her husband, former major league baseball player Cole Tucker, have joyously welcomed their second child this past weekend. While the couple has chosen to keep the details of their new addition private, including the baby’s name and gender, they are undoubtedly cherishing this special time as a family.

Hudgens, 36, announced the news Saturday with an Instagram post showing her lying in a hospital bed holding Tucker’s hand.

“Well…. I did it. Had another baby!!!” Hudgens wrote. “What a wild ride labor is. Big shout out to all the moms. It’s truly incredible what our bodies can do.”

Hudgens humorously shared a glimpse into her birthing experience with a candid photo on social media. The image, featuring her with a bloodshot left eye, was captioned with a light-hearted note: “Labor: poppin out babies and blood vessels loooool.” This post adds a touch of humor to the challenging and rewarding experience of childbirth.

The couple’s journey began at a virtual meditation session in 2020, leading to a blossoming romance that culminated in a beautiful December 2023 wedding in Tulum, Mexico. Since then, their family has grown, with their first child arriving in July 2024. Hudgens kept fans updated on her second pregnancy journey through her Instagram, sharing moments along the way.

Cole Tucker, who retired from professional baseball in March 2025, had a career that included stints with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Colorado Rockies, and Los Angeles Angels. Since stepping away from the field, Tucker has transitioned to a role with Sirius XM, where he continues to share his passion for the sport by covering baseball during the 2025 season.

In addition to the Pirates, Tucker played for the Colorado Rockies and Los Angeles Angels before officially retiring in March. During the 2025 season, he worked with Sirius XM covering baseball.
