Check your tickets: Numbers drawn for Tuesday's $714M Mega Millions jackpot

The Mega Millions jackpot has now exceeded the $700 million mark for the ninth time in the game’s history, capturing the nation’s attention once again.

WASHINGTON — The Mega Millions prize has climbed to a staggering $754 million as the suspense builds with each drawing where no winner emerges.

In Tuesday night’s draw, no ticket managed to match all six numbers needed to claim the grand prize, which was valued at $714 million. The cash option for this jackpot stood at $334.1 million.

The anticipation continues to mount with the next drawing scheduled for Friday, October 31.

The last time a lucky player took home the Mega Millions jackpot was on June 27, when the prize was $348 million.

This week also saw no winners for the second-tier prize, where players needed to match the five white balls. This prize could have ranged from $1 million to $10 million, depending on the multiplier option chosen.

Tuesday’s jackpot would have been the second-largest prize ever won in October, still less than half of the $1.537 billion won almost exactly seven years ago on Oct. 23, 2018.
