Surveillance footage from a salon in Arkansas recorded the moment Andrew James McGann was apprehended regarding the double homicide at Devil’s Den State Park.

The footage, obtained by Fox News, captures 28-year-old McGann in Lupita’s Beauty Salon & Barber Shop in a light blue polo shirt and khaki pants.

While McGann was in the middle of receiving a haircut, officers from the Arkansas State Police (ASP) entered the establishment, placed McGann in handcuffs, and took off the black and white haircut cape he was wearing.

The double-homicide suspect, footage showed, did not resist arrest, as nearby patrons and employees watched in silence.

Major Stacey Rhodes said that McGann confessed to the double-murders.

“He confessed to carrying out these terrible crimes,” Rhodes stated on Thursday. “We subsequently carried out search warrants at his home and on his vehicle. Even though we’re waiting for further analysis from the crime lab, the DNA collected at the original crime scene has already been matched to the suspect.”

According to authorities, the investigation has received more than 500 tips and is still active. Details from what was discovered at the scene have not been disclosed. Investigators are convinced that McGann acted independently, and no other suspects are being pursued at this moment.

Devil’s Den is located about 140 miles northwest of Little Rock. The remote 2,500-acre park features hiking trails and rock formations.
