Footage captured a chaotic scene unfolding in New Jersey during the Labor Day weekend as numerous cars commandeered a local road, and individuals were seen launching fireworks at police vehicles in the early hours, according to officials.
Around 2 a.m. on Sunday, officers responded to a report of over 100 people driving carelessly and performing donuts at a local intersection, as stated by the Secaucus Police Department.
Upon arrival, more than 50 individuals surrounded the police vehicles, with some climbing on top, causing damage to the cruisers.

“Our officers were under attack last night and this disorder will not be tolerated,” Miller stated. “I am allocating resources from our Traffic Bureau, Detective Division, Patrol Division, and Intelligence Section to form a Task Force to identify those responsible for this unruly behavior and ensure they face justice. Secaucus will not become a haven for these criminals!”
Authorities are now requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects seen in the video of the incident and encourage anyone with information to contact the police.
The Secaucus Police Department did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
