A deputy had spotted a motorcyclist at a Wawa in Deltona who had evaded a traffic stop attempt earlier that evening. While detaining the motorcyclist, they summoned Muzzy, who was part of the motorcyclist’s group and engaged in a dispute with the officer conducting the traffic stop.
The motorcyclist was arrested on a charge of fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement and was taken to the Volusia County Branch Jail on a bond of $2,500, deputies said.
“After that rider’s arrest, Muzzy left the Wawa riding her motorcycle with a fictitious tag rather than having it towed or getting a ride home,” the sheriff’s office said on social media.
Muzzy was arrested and faces a charges of possession of a counterfeit license plate and taken to jail with a $2,500 bond.
Since Muzzy’s arrest, the sheriff’s office said it became aware of a social media account she associated with her displaying reckless stunt riding on public roads.
The sheriff’s office is also investigating Muzzy’s conduct as part of an internal affairs investigation.
