As previously reported by RedState, it was disclosed on Thursday that Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, would have his remains transported from Utah to Arizona aboard Air Force Two. Accompanying the flight were Kirk’s wife, Erika, as well as Vice President JD Vance, Second Lady Usha Vance, and several of Kirk’s family and friends.
Charlie Kirk, deeply admired within conservative circles, was tragically killed on Wednesday at an outdoor TPUSA event held at Utah Valley University. He was 31 years old and a father to two young children.
Footage captured before the Air Force Two departure showed Vice President Vance, a personal friend of Kirk, assisting with moving the casket to the aircraft, while the Second Lady and Mrs. Kirk watched. Upon arrival in Phoenix, Mrs. Vance was seen providing comfort to Mrs. Kirk, holding her hand as they exited the plane.
