Grab a coffee (or perhaps something a bit stronger if you prefer), and settle in with this modern-day Weekend Edition of your favorite online publication — let’s dive in!

#1 – Kamala’s Interview in Australia Reminds Us How Lucky We Are That She Lost — by Nick Arama

Yet, it seems inevitable, as she often manages to cause a stir every time she speaks, with what she believes are insightful remarks, such as this notable comment at the recent conference.

Um, Kamala? It was a no. Both in 2020 and 2024.

#2 – Whoa: Hegseth Makes Big Announcement About DOGE Findings at Pentagon – They’re Massive — by Nick Arama

On Wednesday, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth made a significant announcement on X, revealing they’ve identified a substantial amount for potential budget cuts.

Hegseth said their main focus and charge he’d received from President Donald Trump was to restore the warrior ethos. He said a big part of that is finding out what works and what doesn’t work. They identified an overreliance on “management consultants and contractors.” He said they likely had more contractors than they had civilian employees.

#3 – Antifa Violently Attack a Christian Worship Service, and Then the Story Gets So Much Worse — by Bonchie

Mayor Bruce Harrell released the following statement, labeling the worship concert as an “extreme right-wing rally” and threw his support behind the “counter-protesters” who fought with and allegedly injured police officers.

#4 – Evil: This Is How Staffers Planned to Run the Country If an Incoherent Biden Had Been Reelected — by Bob Hoge

Watch:

This is sick stuff, folks, and one hundred percent in violation of the Constitutional principles that made our country great. They valued power over the American people.

#5 – This Is Big: Biden White House Run by Covert ‘Politburo’ — by Ward Clark

Now the rats are fleeing that sinking ship. “Original Sin” won’t be the last book to come out on this topic – bet on it. And that’s the one good thing to come out of all this; the American people deserve some answers, we deserve to know how this happened, we deserve to know how a man so clearly incapacitated managed to stay in office, and how the people around him collaborated, for reasons of their own, to keep him there. And in that knowing, perhaps, we will have the insight, as a nation, to never let this happen again.
