In this episode of “Don’t Mess With Megyn”…
The tale starts with a journalist named Benjamin Ryan, who contributes to health and science articles for The New York Times and other publications. He replied to a post on X, emphasizing that what is termed “misgendering”—whether done intentionally or not—means addressing someone with pronouns that differ from their preferred identification, which he considers “cruel and rude” in today’s liberal context.
Here’s Ryan’s post:
Misgendering is cruel and rude, no matter how many edge cases or straw man arguments people can come up with to try to assert otherwise.
Cruel or rude by whose decree, Mr. Ryan?

Ryan’s assertive stance grabbed the attention of Megyn Kelly, a former host at Fox News and NBC, now a prominent podcaster. She decided to weigh in and provide her perspective on the topic to the “health and science” journalist.
Megyn got right down to business:
It is not rude or cruel to say what’s real and true or to refuse to participate in another person’s delusion.
Going along w/preferred pronouns is dangerous – it forces us to cede entire arguments about who can play in which sporting event, disrobe in which locker room and enter into which prison before we’ve even made our case. (“She” can’t play in women’s sports makes no sense; HE can’t do it makes everything clear.)
Kelly makes an excellent point. The left has for decades written the rules about code words and buzz phrases, an area the right has never mastered — save for some of President Donald Trump’s masterpiece sayings.

Megyn continued, explaining the left’s intent with its concocted “misgendering” language.
It can literally be a matter of life and death for a girl to learn to listen to her own instincts about when a man is present. Teaching her to force herself to lie about that is teaching her to dull her gift of fear.
Don’t let a man like Benjamin tell you that you are rude or cruel if you stand up for reality as well as your, your daughter’s, and all of our daughters’ safety.
Game, set, match — Megyn Kelly.
