ABC’s primetime lineup has been quite exciting recently. On Monday, March 24, viewers enjoyed the season finale of The Bachelor. Following that, Tuesday, March 25 offered new episodes of The Rookie and Will Trent. As for Thursday night, you can find us glued to the screen watching 9-1-1, Doctor Odyssey, and Grey’s Anatomy.
While I have your attention, the first two episodes of the fantastic new series, The Studio, premiere on Apple TV+ this Tuesday night at 9:00 p.m. ET. If you’re subscribed to Apple TV+ and enjoyed Severance, be sure to check out this highly-praised comedy from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. But now, let’s discuss something else: High Potential. You’re familiar with it, you love it, and you’re eagerly anticipating its return.
When exactly will ABC’s freshman phenom be back with new episodes? Has High Potential been renewed for Season 2? Here’s everything you need to know.
Nope. Will Trent and The Rookie will air new episodes from 8:00-10:00 p.m. ET, followed by a special edition of 20/20.
Absolutely! On January 21, ABC revealed they have renewed High Potential for a second season. According to Deadline, “The size of High Potential‘s Season 2 order is yet to be determined but is expected to be larger than Season 1.”
No official release date has been announced, but filming on Season 2 is expected to begin in May. We expect the second season to debut in September 2025 on ABC.
All thirteen Season 1 episodes of High Potential are streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
The second season of High Potential will likely premiere in the fall of 2025 on ABC.
