A WILDLY popular Disney toy sold for just $6 is being pulled from shelves over fears it could choke babies and toddlers.
Thousands of the plush dolls have been recalled after authorities discovered a potentially deadly flaw hidden on the back.
The hazardous dolls were sold in Primark locations throughout the Northeast, Florida, Maryland, and Illinois, as reported by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission on May 22.
Anyone who purchased a Stitch plug bag or Angel plush bag from the brand’s collaboration with Disney’s Lilo and Stitch has been urged to return them.
This is due to the fact that the zipper pull on the back of the bags might come off and become a potential choking or indigestion risk if a small child places it in their mouth, Primark mentioned in a statement.
In serious cases, the child could die from the stray zipper.
About 3,000 of these plush toys were sold at Primark stores between March 2024 and October 2024, priced at approximately $6 each, and were produced in China.
They are about 10 inches long and 8 inches wide, and each one has a swing tag care label hanging from the side.
Consumers who have a bag should keep it away from children immediately and return it to a Primark location for a full refund.
As of now, there haven’t been any reports of injuries, and the recall is considered precautionary.
The company has not said how the issue was first discovered. No other Disney-themed products appear to be affected by the recall.
More information about the recall is available on Primark’s and the CPSC’s websites.
Primark didn’t immediately respond to a request by The U.S. Sun.
RECALL AT ALDI
Aldi has also recently recalled a fish in three states after a life-threatening ingredient was discovered inside.
Santa Monica Seafood from Rancho Dominguez, California, admitted that its Atlantic Salmon Portions with Seafood Stuffing weren’t safe for consumption.
Shoppers in California, Nevada, and Arizona could all have picked up the meal at the store.
The distributors realized that the portions could have soy hidden inside, and unsuspecting diners with allergies could be at risk.

Some products have recently been found with plastic or wood that can break an unlucky customer’s teeth.
A popular ice cream had plastic that can cut your mouth.
