In the video, children’s screams are audible as the inflatable structure breaks free from its moorings and overturns in front of shocked parents.
The bouncy castle soon came to a rough halt when it collided with a children’s playground.
Footage captures it whipping in the wind after landing atop a climbing frame, prompting frantic parents and guardians to rush to the children’s aid.
Debris from the incident was scattered across the Zion district in Ufa, Russia, as the strong winds continued to blow.
Several individuals received medical treatment at the scene following the mishap.
A seven year old was among at least four of those who sustained injuries and had to be rushed to hospital, according to reports.
One horrified witness recalled: “The noise of the wind could not blot out the screams of the terrified children.
“Some were crying as the bouncy castle with a slide landed on a nearby playground.”
A tent-like structure sat next to the bouncy castle was also uprooted by the violent gusts.
Onlookers were watching on from a security camera as the inflatable castle took off into the air and crashed to the ground.
One child who saw the horror unfold had his hands on his head as the castle slammed into the park as he ran to his dad.
It comes just weeks after a similar freak accident occured when a bouncy castle was sent 40ft in the air.
