LOS ANGELES — Chris Hemsworth is back, and this time, he’s exploring how to live longer and better.
In “Limitless: Live Better Now,” debuting on Aug. 15 on Disney+ and Hulu, the internationally acclaimed actor undertakes three daring challenges that delve into the realms of pain, fear, and mental acuity, all aimed at discovering actionable strategies to enhance our lives immediately.
The series’ three episodes track Hemsworth as he performs live with Ed Sheeran in front of an audience of 70,000, ascends a massive Alpine dam, and undergoes South Korean Special Forces training—including experiences with pepper spray and electrocution—to address chronic pain.
Filmed over two years across six countries, the series presents insights from experts like palliative care specialist Dr. BJ Miller, cognitive scientist Dr. Maya Shankar, and neuroscientist Professor Abigail Marsh, along with wingsuiter Steph Davis, among others. Directed by Darren Aronofsky and produced by Wild State, Nutopia, and Protozoa, the series will be broadcast on National Geographic on Aug. 25. The first season of “Limitless” is available for streaming on Hulu.
The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Hulu, Disney Plus and this ABC station.
