The Middle East is witnessing an intensifying conflict as the U.S. and Israel continue their military operations against Iran, now entering its sixth day. The situation is becoming increasingly volatile, affecting the entire region.
Images released on Thursday reveal the widespread devastation in Tehran, with the Iranian capital bearing the brunt of nearly a week of relentless strikes. In response, Iran has launched its own barrage of missiles and drones aimed at Israel, while also targeting U.S. allies situated throughout the area.
Reports of explosions have come in from various locations, including Qatar and Bahrain. Additionally, Azerbaijan, a nation rich in oil, reported being targeted by two Iranian drones. Further heightening tensions, Iran has claimed that its naval forces have attacked a U.S. tanker in the northern Persian Gulf.
In Washington, President Donald Trump has suggested that the conflict with Iran might extend for four to five weeks, though he cautioned that the duration could potentially be much longer. The uncertainty of the situation underscores the complexity and potential for prolonged engagement.
