Wayne Lineker battled nerves ahead of his speech at daughter Tia’s lavish wedding as she tied the knot with Harry Agombar in sun-soaked Mallorca on Sunday. 

The entrepreneur and brother of Gary Lineker, 63, looked dapper in a black tuxedo while taking to Instagram before his big moment to ask fans for luck. It is unknown if his famous sibling was in attendance. 

Wayne also posed for snaps alongside youngest son Freddie, 21, who cut an equally smart figure in a tan suit which he wore with a crisp white shirt.

Shielding his eyes behind tinted shades Wayne told his followers: ‘Wow what a day unbelievable walked my princess down the aisle,’

‘Going to do my speech now, wish me luck guys’ before playfully pulling a concerned face for the camera.

Tia stunned in a champagne lace dress that hugged every inch of her jaw-dropping figure, while groom Harry chose a classic suit.   

The venue was decorated with huge signs that read ‘the night before’ as well as lavish flowers displays. 

Wayne is a father of four, as well as daughter Tia, he has three sons Freddie, Duane, 40, and Sean, 33, –  having previously said he is on good terms with the mothers of his children, whose names have not all been disclosed. 

On Thursday Tia revealed she had arrived in Mallorca ahead of her big day, a year after she and Harry got engaged. 

The mother of one posted a picture of an airport trolley holding several cases including a Louis Vuitton bag, as well as her wedding dress.

Tia explained that she took her dress as a carry on item and was able to store it in the overhead locker on the plane – which she revealed was a risky move. 

She wrote: ‘In regards to my dress I just took it as hand luggage and no one asked any questions up until getting onto the plane. 

I managed to get a whole overhead locker for it but I would 100 per cent recommend booking a seat for your dress to have it right next to you.

After years of avoiding each other – Wayne and Gary reunited at the ex BBC star’s son Harry’s wedding in Ibiza last month, marking the first time they have been seen together in years

In a video shared to Instagram, Gary necked back the drink before the bottle was passed to his younger brother with the pair having seemingly buried the hatchet for the family event

‘As they said if there wasn’t a locker available it would of had to be put in the hold! Because there wasn’t no wardrobe space on the plane as it was a small BA one, one I think I got lucky! Just took it in a doubled up dress bag’. 

Tia, who recently launched a 20-look holiday edit for PrettyLittleThing featuring 32 pieces, will be joined by friends and family to celebrate their union.

She recently attended the wedding of her cousin Harry’s wedding in Ibiza, as she attended with her father despite a 17-year family feud.

Gary and Wayne’s feud dates back to 2008, when former England and Barcelona striker Gary started seeing Danielle Bux and brought her on holiday to Ibiza.

‘In my opinion, Danielle cost me my relationship with my brother. Sadly Gary is no longer a part of my life,’ Wayne told The Sun in April 2015.

Wayne was left confused when their weekly phone conversations and home visits ended abruptly – but he blames it on an awkward first encounter with Danielle, who Gary married in 2009 but divorced in 2016.

‘They came to Ibiza in August 2008 and it was really awkward. I didn’t spark with Danielle and our relationship was cold,’ said Wayne.

Wayne claimed that Danielle stayed in her room on the first day and they did not speak to one another during a night out the following night.

The influencer did not want to risk upsetting his brother by bringing the tension up with Gary – but Wayne never spoke to Danielle after the holiday.

Tia and Harry have been together for eight years and welcomed Alba via emergency C-section in December 2021.

Tia penned in the caption: ‘I said YES to the man of my dreams in our special place.’ 

The couple have been together for seven years and welcomed Alba via emergency C-section in December 2021. 

‘The most special proposal @harryagombar_ cannot wait for the proudest moment of my life to walk my baby girl down the aisle… love you both.’

Harry had organized a beautiful sunset proposal for her and it was surely an easy yes for Tia who was presented with a huge emerald cut ring. 

Harry, who manages team Arabian Falcons in Dubai, captioned his shots on Instagram: ‘She said yes.’

Former English footballer Harry played as a midfielder for Hereford United, Swindon and Grays Athletic.
