They're rich and stunning. But they all want the same expensive thing

Imagine yourself on a yoga mat in the backyard of a $20million mansion surrounded by five to six other people wearing matching workout sets.

The sun shines warmly on your back as you take in the scent of newly-mown grass mixed with the floral aroma of the island’s renowned hydrangeas, enveloping you in a sense of peace and bliss, much like the soothing summer sun.

As you stretch into a warrior’s pose with sweat (and makeup!) running down your face, you’re reminded: I paid $200 for this class. And you love it.

That’s summer in the Hamptons.

“It’s what we do every day,” says Stephanie Suskind, 38, a fashion and lifestyle maven. She resides in Miami for most of the year but relishes her summers on New York’s poshest island.

‘You’re going to the Hamptons, what else are you going to do? There’s no nightlife. You’re going to have a fit summer,’ she tells the Daily Mail.

But don’t think that means your morning will start with a relaxing dip in the pool or jog on the beach.

Securing a spot in the coveted workout classes, which have become an essential element of any visit this season, demands both effort and the right connections.

Stephanie Suskind, 38, (left, pictured with Andrea Saty) told Daily Mail a summer in the Hamptons is a 'fit summer'. She said: 'You're going to the Hamptons, what else are you going to do? There's no nightlife. You're going to have a fit summer'

The high ticket prices often come with goodie bags that feature matching sets, like this Tremble class wearing a Carbon38 co-ord that retails for $216

‘You just have to know somebody,’ Suskind said. She considers herself a newbie amongst the Hamptons elite as it’s only her second summer there, but she certainly isn’t struggling to fit in – into matching leggings or the class roster.

‘You have to book in advance. You have to be on the list,’ she said.

Sharon Feiereisen, who owns The Moms Club, told the Daily Mail some of her events sell out in hours and need to be booked out one to two weeks in advance.

She says this allows her to coordinate brand deals to provide matching sets and other goodies.

‘So many great brands partake,’ she said. She’s partnered with Reebok, Boxed Water, and La Roche-Posay and said her goodie bags run anywhere between three to five times the ticket price.

Whether they are going to SoulCycle at The Barn – one of the most exclusive spots which often has a 20+ person waitlist – or getting the nod for an invite-only class, these women are on their A-game and want to look good doing it.

‘People love it,’ Feiereisen said of the matching outfits.

But the classes come at more than just the cost of a Splits59 workout set – which normally retail at $128 for the leggings and $82 for the bra.

Feiereisen’s events run between $75 and $115, she told the Daily Mail.

Suskind has spent up to $200 for EMS suit classes, which involves wearing a fitness garment that has electrodes that send impulses to muscles. And every add-on is an additional $200.

‘The prices are insane,’ Suskind told Daily Mail. ‘It’s like $1,000 for a group class.

‘I think it’s worth it.’

Most classes cost at least $50 in the sunny paradise.

Popular classes include Tracey Anderson Method, which costs $75 for a single class, and those of Meredith Shumway, whose sessions are mainly booked up through Labor Day despite costing $55.

Suskind says the workout scene in the Hamptons is the most exclusive of any she’s seen.

She had to use her network to get into the Lululemon House for a workout this week and many spend their summers just ‘trying to get into the mansion.’

This week alone, Suskind had an EMS workout at a private mansion, as well as an Andrea Saty sculpt class that was at a private residence. Saty exclusively offers invitation-only classes.

‘I really love the invitation-only classes,’ Suskind told Daily Mail.

Feiereisen also hosted a Saty-led class at a private mansion in Sag Harbor on Friday for moms.

And who exactly will you see inside these classes? Girls who look the same, according to Suskind.

‘We’re all kind of the same,’ she said. ‘Same [workout] set, different colors.’

And some of them – including Suskind – work out in makeup because they know the expensive class is not only for sweating it out, but is also likely to be filled with pictures and goodies bags.

‘I’m bringing my best self,’ she told the Daily Mail.
